Best Washington DC Real Estate Agent?

Who is the Best Realtor in Washington D.C.?

Well, if I was answering that question, it would be Monica Youngling DC Real Estate agent and the YounglingTeam from Prudential PenFed Realty, Eastern Market, Capitol Hill!  ...Why are they the best Real Estate team in DC? Here are several reasons.

Buying or Selling a Home in Washington DC? You’re about to take one of life’s biggest and most important financial decisions and you don’t want to go through it alone. The YounglingTeam is here to help.

The YounglingTeam of DC & VA, can make all the difference. They know the Washington housing market forwards and backwards. Monica and team have networks, like no other, of contacts to help you through the transaction (e.g., contractors to get your home ready for sale, bankers to help you get the best and most current mortgage rates) and they are excellent negotiators on your behalf. If you choose to work with an inexperienced or ineffective agent, however, the outcome can be a life changing experience for the worse .
The key is to choose a DC real estate agent, who will always have your best interest at heart and who will work hard to get you the best deal possible. Here are five (5) tips to ensure you find an agent who will do exactly that:

·      Is a Realtor, not just a Real Estate agent
Although agents and Realtors hold the same type of license, a Realtor is also a member of the National Association of Realtors and is held to a higher professional standard and work by a strict code of ethics.

·     Practices good communication
Have you ever tried to get a hold of your agent only to, after the 5th attempt, accepted your fate to not know what’s going on? Your agent should let you know who does what in a transaction, and then stay in touch with you throughout the process.

·     Responds in a timely manner
You want to know that if you leave your agent a phone, text or e-mail message, they will get back to you shortly and not leave you wondering if they received it.

·     Listens to their client
Does your agent take the time to listen to your hopes, dreams and desires for this next phase of your life? How else will they be able to help get you there?

·     Does their research and presents it honestly
You may be looking for a property to buy and find one you love because of its features. But, what if it doesn't have the potential to give you the equity growth to make it a good investment? Before you make your decision, it is imperative that the agent is honest about whether or not the property has the potential to increase in value, based on quality market research. Likewise, if you are in the planning stages of listing your property for sale, it is equally important that your agent gives you a thorough evaluation based on that same quality market research. It could help you determine whether you should list right away, or wait.
